More than a year has passed since Capcom brought us the eighth installment of what has become the quintessential survival horror saga, Resident Evil . In this new title, those responsible may have outdone themselves, delivering a game with a superb technical section, at least if you enjoy it on consoles, since if you’re a dedicated PC player, let’s say you’re not so lucky.
Resident Evil VIII Misbehaves

Although at first it seemed like a few crazy people who thought there was a catastrophic failure in the game, nothing could be further from the truth, since Capcom has recently recognized that, by accident, they have introduced a bug in the version sold on Steam of Resident Evil Village that has sneaked in without asking for permission through the latest patch released on the Valve store.
This is not the first time the franchise has fallen prey to bugs . Both Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 , to be exact, also had similar errors on Steam, causing certain parts of each of them to be completely unplayable. From errors in which enemies stopped appearing to a complete block to continue the story or falls into the void beyond the mapc
In Resident Evil Village the thing has to do with a problem that crashes the game and returns us suddenly and without warning to the home screen , which makes it impossible for Steam users to play the video game without having to worry in case the game blows up.

Capcom apologizes and promises fix
Last Monday (as you can see just above) Capcom, through the official Resident Evil Twitter account, addressed all Steam players and took the opportunity to apologize and something else:
“To all Resident Evil players on Steam: We are aware of a bug with the new patch that is causing the game to crash for some users. We are currently looking at a solution to fix this and apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
Although at the moment we have not been given a date of when this error will be corrected, it is certain that we will not have to wait too long since, as you are sure to be aware, the game will receive new content in just over a week so it is practically an obligation that Capcom previously correct this little problem within Steam. If not, it is exposed that by adding extra content the bomb and the problem becomes much more virulent and affects more and more users.
The problem is especially serious because today Resident Evil Village is not sold on PC in any other digital store. Neither GoG nor the Epic Games Store have versions available, so the error that Capcom must correct fully impacts 100% of those who use their computer to enjoy one of the best survival horror games we’ve ever seen. So if you are among those who have seen how the game is interrupted, pay attention to Capcom’s social networks, but especially to updates from the Valve store, to install the update as soon as possible to all the game files.
And you? Have you had the misfortune to cross the path of this Resident Evil Village bug ?
