All Android phones have the possibility of changing the font size in one way or another, something that however varies in the case of fonts. We are going to explain you step by step everything you need to do to make your mobile change its appearance in a few seconds or that you can adapt the typography to better read the texts.
How to make the letter bigger or smaller
This process has many similarities in all mobiles, so it does not matter that we have a mobile with Android stock , the EMUI, MIUI or any other customization layer. We will explain the steps you must follow:
- First of all we will have to access the Settings of our mobile.
- Next we will look for the ” Screen ” option.
- Inside we will find several options and we will have access to the ” Font size “, being able to be within advanced options.

How to change the font on Android phones

After trying several methods, the easiest and one that is compatible for any model is through a launcher that makes the process easier and makes it really easy, we explain the steps to follow:
- We downloaded the launcher called Lawnchair 2 from the Play Store.
- Then we access it and grant permissions .
- Once inside, access the application drawer by sliding your finger and tap on Lawnchair Settings.
- We follow the next route: Theme> Fonts and select ” Global Typography “.
- Now we click on change and we will have an infinity of fonts to choose from.
Add new fonts to your mobile
Despite the many fonts that appear in the launcher that we have shown you, you can also add others that we download from any of the many applications available or from any website on the Internet. The easiest method is to access the DaFont website , from where we have at our disposal many font styles with which to personalize our mobile.
Once we have downloaded the desired letter, we will have to unzip the file with our administrator and then repeat the steps again to change the font: Lawnchair Settings> Theme> Fonts. But in this case we will touch on the first option where it says ” Add Fonts” and we will select from our files the one that ends in OFT or TTF extension .
