There are so many options that MIUI has on Xiaomi phones that sometimes the most useful ones can go unnoticed, as is the case with the automatic background change . This option that we can find in Huawei phones with EMUI is also present in Xiaomi and also in all models, but nevertheless it is very well hidden so that not everyone can use it.
If you want to be able to change the wallpaper automatically in Xiaomi, you just have to make sure you have MIUI 10, MIUI 11 or MIUI 12 and in any of the Xiaomi, Poco, Redmi or Black Shark mobiles you can enjoy this interesting option. It has taken us time to enjoy it ourselves, although once you activate it you do not have to do anything else.
Activate Carousel wallpaper on Xiaomi
In order to carry out this adjustment on our Xiaomi mobile, we are going to have to get a Carousel wallpaper, which is Xiaomi’s own app that is on mobile phones sold outside of Spain, in countries like India. However, like so many other limitations by regions, here we do not have it by default and in order to use it we will have to make a change that may sound like other tricks.
- To begin we must enter the Settings.
- Then we look for the Additional Settings section.
- Later we move to Region.
- And finally we choose India instead of Spain.
Having completed this process and being connected to a WiFi network, it will be enough for some apps to be added to the system in a matter of seconds, as well as relevant changes in MIUI that will allow us more functions. If this does not occur, we must restart the mobile and remember that it is important to be connected to the WiFi so that everything is finished applying and downloading correctly.
Automatically change the background on Xiaomi
The next thing you should do is lock the mobile screen, yes, although it may seem simple, it is the only thing we have to do. At the bottom we can see that a small flower-shaped icon appears on the left that when sliding it to the right will allow us to start using the option we are looking for in MIUI.
First of all, it will ask us for the unlocking method and then we can activate this function based on Carousel wallpaper that has been so difficult to find. Activating it will take us to a new tab where we will touch on “Settings” and finally we activate the first option as shown in the image. Just by doing this we will no longer be able to go out and forget to always have the same lock screen background because every time we unlock the mobile it will change for a new one among hundreds that are available and that Xiaomi itself continually renews.
