With these updates we do not have to wait to find out if there are new ones in the system settings, but the phone downloads them automatically when they arrive on the phone, always proactively.
And within these updates we can also choose that when they are carried out they do so based on a certain criterion personalized by us . In these cases, the update will be done automatically, always based on those parameters that we have set.
How are they activated and configured?
It is an option that we can find in most Android phones , it always depends on the layer of software they have, but in this case we have a Motorola phone with Android One, which therefore does not have any customization and drinks from the features Basic Android 10. Well, in order to activate these smart updates we must do the following:
- Enter the phone settings
- Select the “System” menu
- Click on “System updates”
- Now select the three vertical points in the upper right
- Click on “Update preferences”
This is where the smart updates can be activated by clicking on the slider button. Once activated, we can choose various parameters to be carried according to our needs. First we can choose the time interval in which they will be carried out. We have three time slots , two hours between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., logically so that they are not carried out while using the phone.
