If mobile manufacturers have emphasized something in recent years, it has been to provide their own intelligence to the terminals. This has generally been achieved by the irruption of artificial intelligence in its terminals. In the case of Realme this translates into its intelligent assistant, which is something very different from the classic voice assistants.
The Realme UI 1.0 layer has incorporated many new features, although there is much to be polished, and one of the most interesting is its intelligent assistant, a kind of personal assistant that seeks to complement the Google assistant that your mobile phones integrate.
What is this assistant for?
This Realme assistant is different from what we can expect for example from the Google assistant, since it is based on cards that appear according to the use we give the phone. When this assistant is activated, it occupies the place that we would normally find Google’s “Discover” , sliding from left to right on the phone’s home page.
Once inside what we can find are those that we have configured in the settings of this assistant. Once inside the wizard screen we can click on the settings button, in the upper right part. In this settings menu is where we are going to choose which cards are the ones that are shown in the smart assistant automatically. We subscribe to these cards, and we can choose them in the three sections that the assistant has. These sections are:
- For you: where we can see quick function cards, step counter, favorite contacts or weather information.
- Life: here the time and the step counter are repeated.
- Convenience: where we find the quick functions and favorite contacts.
The truth is that it is an assistant to whom we see a lot of room for improvement , and that also uses a language that reminds us of the Chinese origin of the cape. It is basically an area in which we place shortcuts to our favorite apps and where we can see information related to time or calendar events, but it does not offer much more, and in fact it is an assistant that overlaps with other functions of the layer by Realme.
How is the wizard activated?
It is very simple, for this we must enter the phone’s settings , where we must activate this smart functionality so that it appears on the left side of the start. Follow these steps:
- Enter the settings of your Realme
- Click on “smart services”
- Activate the “Smart Assistant” slider
Now when you slide your fingers from left to right on the home screen, you will see this wizard , which, as we say, is still very green, and honestly, we don’t see much travel to make it useful in our day-to-day lives, but to tastes, colors.
