Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5: Leaked Photos and Features

Google this year will launch its new generation of mobiles, the Google Pixel 5 , but as you know the most recent mobile they have launched has been the cheap version of their fourth generation, the Pixel 4a. Now the first real images of both its 5G version have been leaked, as well as the next top of the range of the Mountain View firm.

It must be recognized that many of us have not understood over the years how to manage the range of phones by Google. Very expensive phones with features always behind, although yes, with the best Android software possible in every way. And with a future top of the range that a priori will have mid-range characteristics .

A design very similar to the Google Pixel 4a

For the range of Pixel devices basically two new models are expected, a 4G version of the Google Pixel 4a and the new Google Pixel 5. Both have now been leaked in a real image showing their backside. An image shared by XDA, which shows us both phones with an almost identical appearance to each other at the design level, not in size. Because as we can see, while on the left side we have the smallest Pixel 5 , black. On the right side is the white Pixel 4a 5G with a larger size.

Along with the images, the features of both phones have also been leaked on Reddit, and this is where what we don’t really understand from Google comes in. Because they are two phones, presumably from different generations, but with traced characteristics, except for the screen size and the battery. For its part, the Google Pixel 5 would have two rear cameras, with an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 12.2-megapixel main camera. In front the camera would be 8 megapixels. The processor that it would have would be the Snapdragon 765G . It would come with 8GB of RAM, 90Hz screen and a fingerprint reader behind without a minijack connector. Its battery would be 4000mAh .

For its part, the Google Pixel 4a 5G would have the same camera behind and in front , as well as the same Snapdragon 765G processor and 6GB of RAM. The screen would have a normal refresh rate, as well as a fingerprint reader and a minijack connector for headphones. In this case the battery would be 3800mAh . In terms of size, the Pixel 5 will be smaller with a 6-inch screen, while the Pixel 4a 5G will have a larger 6.2-inch screen. Two phones very similar to each other, something that confuses us a lot about Google’s strategy with its product ranges.
