Writing and editing texts has been the order of the day for years, for which we use specific programs such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs . In addition, the use that we will later make of these created documents is very varied, hence the wide functionality that they offer us.
Of the many uses that we can give to the text documents that we create in any current editor, in these lines we want to focus on one specific one. We want to talk to you about the possibility of converting these files that, for example, we create in the Google Docs text editor, into a web page. As you can imagine this will allow us to publish it online later and share it with the rest of the world. Of course, it is recommended that a priori in the document that we create with the editor we add all the contents that we want to be part of the future web.
Here we refer to elements such as the corresponding images or tables that we wish to include in that website that we will publish. To do this, for example, we can use an intuitive web application called Pagify that will help us greatly in this process. First of all, we will say that we can access this platform from any internet browser . Specifically, here we are talking about an online tool whose main objective is to convert a Google Docs file quickly and easily.
Create a website from a Google Docs document with Pagify
The first thing we should know is that with this online platform that we mentioned we have the possibility of creating all kinds of web pages . To a great extent, all of this will depend on the format that we have given to the original document. Keep in mind that Google Docs natively has a function to publish these texts. The drawback is that the resulting web pages are not optimized in terms of appearance and format.
Therefore, to obtain a properly optimized and formatted website, we recommend using the aforementioned Pagify application. In principle, we only have to load the corresponding website, and we must know that to use it we do not even need to register. But before that, the first thing we do here is go to the main menu of Google Docs once we have the document. Specifically, we place ourselves in the option called File / Publish on the web .
