For users and experts, Samsung‘s Fan Edition series is really attractive, offering features typical of the most top-of-the-range Galaxy, but at a slightly lower price (although, it is true, not too much). That is why there are many of us who miss this model in 2022.
It was last year when, apparently, the Galaxy S FE series seemed to come to an end, with the cancellation of the long-awaited S22 FE, which made the S21 FE the last exponent of this range. However, it seems that things are about to change, both because of the rumors that suggested a temporary blocking of the series, and because of the latest leaks coming from South Korea.

A Galaxy S23 FE on the way
It was the Korean medium Hankooki , who revealed that the manufacturer is not only thinking of bringing the high-end family back to life in the FE range , but also that the hypothetical Samsung Galaxy S23 would already be in development and that we would see it this year, probably in August, along with the launch of the brand’s new foldables.

Of course, from the little we know about the terminal, it is likely that it will be released this year, but not many details are known about the device’s specifications. The only thing that we can be more or less clear about is that it will not use an Exynos chip and, like what happens in the different S23 launched a few days ago, the smartphone would have a Qualcomm processor, probably the Snapdragon 8. + Gen 1 , to create a minimal distinction between the latest top of the range of the brand and the FE series, which mount a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The rest of the specifications are unknown , but if we take a look at everything that the FE line offers; It is logical to think that the phone is not going to give up high-level features, maintaining the lines and shapes of the S23, but with some other change in the camera sensors, probably losing the telephoto lens.
What has also been speculated is that the smartphone would inherit a large part of the characteristics of the Galaxy A74, a device that has been leaked on occasion as the great mid-high range of the future catalog of the firm, but which has never come to see the light.

The decision to remove the Galaxy A74 from the firm’s release schedule could be mainly related to the time to market for the Galaxy A series . These mobiles are generally launched shortly before (or shortly after) the presentation of the Galaxy S. This year it would have been too close to the S23 and, without a doubt, it would have made a dent in sales.
Samsung has spent some time preventing models that are too similar to each other from being cannibalized in important price ranges and this would be one of the big reasons why the Galaxy A74 have become that hypothetical Galaxy S23 FE that will be released in a few months.
