The good news is that it is no longer necessary to download a third-party app to perform this task, since not so many years ago it was the only option. Free up RAM automatically
When the RAM memory becomes scarce and busy by the system, it is easy to experience general slow system problems. These problems become very pronounced when surfing the net, watching videos or playing certain games. The solution for many users is to restart the device , but it is not necessary with this Samsung feature.
Within the “Device Care” options we will find a special function that allows us to free up the device’s RAM memory by closing certain applications, which have been used previously, but still consume resources in the background.
In order to access the tool, we must slide a finger upwards or towards to access the Applications screen and then enter the Settings menu. Once done, we must slide to the bottom to see more options and enter “Device care”. The last step is to touch on “Memory” and then on “Release” . The function may have more or less effect, depending on our device model. This means that terminals with 6, 8 or 12 GB of Samsung RAM, possibly use this function less, but quickly notice the change as soon as it is activated. However, devices with more limited RAM (2GB, 3GB, 4GB RAM), could have most of their resources already in use and experience less of an effect. However, everything will depend on the number of applications installed and running in the background, so the former have more margin than the latter.
