One of those that have been the best cameras on mobiles such as the Huawei P30 Pro has begun to give users problems, especially when it comes to taking advantage of its powerful zoom. Back in 2019 this model was presented willing to take photography a step further, but nevertheless now, it is becoming a problem for all users who want to use the cameras of this particular model.
Through the official Huawei forum, other derivatives and even on YouTube, we have come across users in recent days who have complained about a problem that prevents focusing with the Huawei P30 Pro when zooming in the slightest. This situation seems somewhat complex and difficult to find an explanation, since the latest update to EMUI 11 would not be the culprit, since we have found testimonials from users with EMUI 10.1 who have this problem.
Blurry photos on the Huawei P30 Pro
The various photos that we find in the forums and media show us how the Huawei P30 Pro is unable to take the focused photo by itself . They also show us in the videos that we have to manually touch the screen to perform manual focus. Apparently the problem does not appear when using the wide angle or the provincial camera in 1x mode and the further we want to take the photo, the more evident the problem is.
The error for now has only appeared in the Huawei P30 Pro and not in other models, although it will be easy to find it also in the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition since they are exactly the same smartphone with the same cameras. The 8 Mpx telephoto camera is the one that suffers the most from this failure and we could also blame the ToF 3D laser focus that the Huawei terminal includes.
How to fix the problem in the cameras
Luckily, the error with the mobile approach seems to be focused solely on the software and that gives us possibilities to fix it ourselves. The first thing we recommend is to check in Settings> System and updates, if we have a new version or patch waiting for us, which could fix the problem without doing anything else. Otherwise, we will have to do the following:
- We access the camera.
- We touch on the upper Settings wheel.
- We go down and touch on “Reset default values”.
In case this is not enough, we will have to enter safe mode to find out if the P30 Pro’s camera problem also occurs without other applications or derivative effects. To do this, we just have to turn off the mobile and then turn it on by holding down power + volume up. Once the options appear, we move to Safe Mode and accept.
The problem would allow it to disappear in safe mode, which would allow us to delete unsafe applications or even to reset the Huawei P30 Pro completely to solve it. To get out of here, you just have to turn off your mobile again.
