Amazon has a new Fire TV ready, it will present it shortly if there are no surprises and it will serve to compete with other proposals that seek that available HDMI that all those users who want to convert any television into Smart TV have.
The Fire TV Stick will have a Lite version

The inclusion of a new button with an icon of an old television with its two respective antennas for tuning an analog signal is striking. This first would serve to access the offer of live channels that the company already offers and all those that could arrive in the future.
Regarding the characteristics there are no data, but everything indicates that it will be a reduced version in terms of benefits. Enough to play content at 1080p resolution , but little else. So if you were planning to make somewhat more demanding uses with it, forget it.
This does not mean that you cannot install a wide variety of applications available in the Fire TV application store and even the odd emulator thanks to the fact that the system is based on Android.

If you wonder about the point of launching a product of these supposed characteristics in the middle of 2020, when the use of 4K screens has become very popular and practically all televisions offer panels of this resolution, the answers are two: price and types of users .
