EMUI 10.1: All Huawei Phones that Will Receive the Update

EMUI 10.1 has been with us for a while now. The operating system was presented along with the launch of the Huawei P40 with details as interesting as multi-device collaboration, a 100% dark mode and the new MeeTime app for video calls. Now Huawei updates the number of mobile phones of the brand and Honor that will be updated to this version of the operating system.

The list includes the Huawei and Honor phones, which will receive the new version of Android 10, not as EMUI 10.1, but as Magic UI 3.1 .

From 13 to 36

A few days ago, Huawei had listed thirteen devices ready to receive the software update but, as we suspected, it was a rather scarce and incomplete list because large models such as the Huawei P20 or some recent Honor models were missing. Now the company is expanding the number of mobiles compatible with EMUI 10.1 by adding 23 new terminals, including some of the brand’s tablets .

Of course, this listing refers to Chinese models and, although these would receive it in the coming days, it remains to be seen when the global versions of these phones will receive EMUI 10.1 . Typically, the software hits global versions of the Huawei and Honor mobiles a few weeks after their counterparts on the Asian continent do, so imagine that before summer comes to an end all of these models should stay updated.

If your device doesn’t appear in the EMUI 10.1 upgrade list, don’t worry. It is likely that the brand will update it again after a few months because its intention is to bring the software to the maximum number of possible phones to fight against the absence of GMS in its new smartphones.
