WhatsApp has added new functions such as being able to send an image that is later deleted by itself or being able to increase the speed of the audios. But despite the new functionalities, it is no secret that this instant messaging application has several tricks to find out information that normally we could not know with any of the functions that the application has.
For example, you can find out who has saved our phone number and also know under what name.
How to know if they have saved me?
This trick is compatible for both Android and iOS devices . The first thing we will have to do is create a distribution list with all our contacts and groups in which we are.
This feature of WhatsApp allows you to send the same message to all the people you want without having to create any group.
By selecting the new broadcast option in the upper right corner, we can see how a message appears at the top that says that only people who have saved your number in their agenda will be able to receive the broadcast message that we want to send.
Therefore, we will choose all the people to whom we want to send this test message to know who has saved us and then wait long enough for all the people to read it.
After sending we will be able to access the information in the message by holding it down, and we will know who has read it and who has not.
Once the checks are done, if we see that the information in the message shows us a phone number that does not ring a bell or that we do not relate to anyone, that means that someone we do not know has us saved.
Luckily, WhatsApp offers us options to increase our privacy and from the settings tab in the upper right corner, selecting Account and then Privacy, we can choose that users that we do not have saved as a contact cannot see our last connection or our image of profile.
And how do I know with what name you have saved me?
To know this, it is not necessary to have any type of secondary application installed. It should be noted that it can be done on both iOS and Android .
To find out this information is very simple: first we will have to get into the conversation of the person from whom we want to know how our contact has been saved for us.
Once in there, we will have to ask that person to pass us our own contact . To do this we can try to use ingenuity, or if you prefer, order it directly, that depends on what each one prefers.
However, here comes the most important thing : we will need the person to send us our contact from the contact sharing tool , not by typing our phone number or anything like that. The option to share contact is in the lower right part of the screen, by tapping on the clip that appears next to the camera icon.
Once we receive our contact card, we will be able to see both our telephone number and the information that we wanted to know from the beginning: with what name that person has saved us. In addition, the profile photo also appears if there is one.
The only bad thing about this trick is that you cannot do everything by yourself, but it requires collaboration from another person.
Even so, it is a good technique to get rid of doubts about how they have saved us if we are curious.
