How to Disable the Keyboard Accessibility Scan on BQ Mobiles

In 2017 alone, BQ sold 1.1 million mobile phones , becoming the third manufacturer with the most units sold in Spain. Although we are only three years away from that, the mobile phone industry is operating at a beastly pace. What was new yesterday is old today, and what was the leader yesterday has disappeared from the market today. Chinese manufacturers came to Europe to claim their place, but there are still many users who keep their BQ like the first day, working and fulfilling with dignity on a day-to-day basis. This means that problems can continue to appear, and do so at the least expected time.

Keyboard Accessibility Scan is enabled

It was in 2015 when BQ presented the Accessibility Scan solution , a series of tools whose purpose was to help people with disabilities interact with their Android mobile or tablet. Within these tools was a special keyboard. The problem is that many users are finding this keyboard without having activated it and without knowing how to return to their traditional keyboard.

The solutions

In some cases, the keyboard has appeared after restarting the mobile, without having been previously activated. In this case, we will have three possible solutions to try to get everything back to normal. The first one goes directly to deactivating the Accessibility Scan function , and that is what should work. For this we go to Settings / Accessibility and look for the function to deactivate it.

The second solution is to go to the language and text input options in the settings menu, and choose the traditional keyboard that we had before . Then we will go to an app or website to write and the usual keyboard should appear without problem. The last option goes through the installation of a third-party keyboard, and following the installation steps for its activation. Once done, we can make the Accessibility Scan keyboard disappear .
