Differences between the Redmi Note 10

Which one is for you?

Differences between the new Redmi Note 10 Series

All the brand’s models are quite similar at the design level, with that rectangular camera module inherited from the Xiaomi Mi 11 that puts the main sensor before the rest. All of them hit the market with perforated screens and hardware that, beyond maintaining a battery of more than 5,000 mAh, or the same storage configuration, does change a lot. You can check it in the following table.

What do they have in common?

Each and every one of the 4 Redmi Note 10 models hit the market with 64 or 128 GGB of storage, batteries that exceed 5,000 mAh and MIUI 12 working on Android 11. Its fingerprint sensor is located on the side and is charged by a USB Type C port. In addition, all of them have Bluetooth, GPS and NFC collectivity.

The screens, the processor and the cameras, along with the fast charging, are the main differences between the Redmi Note 10 .

Redmi Note 10, the cheap

Redmi Note 10

The Redmi Note 10 is built with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen that supports the DCI-P3 color gamut and hits 1100 nits on automatic. It has FullHD + resolution and a classic refresh rate of 60 Hz. At the hardware level it works with a Snapdragon 678 chipset with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and a storage of 64 or 128 GB, the same present in the entire Xiaomi range.

It also shares with most a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging, MIUI 12 based on Android 12 and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

As for the cameras, the Redmi Note 10 includes a 48 MP main camera with f / 1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f / 2.2 and a pair of 2MP sensors, one for macro photos and the other for depth detection, both with the same aperture of f / 2.4. With this lens we can record videos in 4K at 30 fps. The front camera is a 13MP unit with f / 2.5 aperture that records videos in 1080p.

It is one of the first mobiles to be sold in Spain , in Onyx Gray, Pebble White, Lake Green. The price for the 6 + 128 B version is 199.99 euros.

Redmi Note 10 Pro, the beast

Redmi Note 10 Pro

Xiaomi’s best mid-range is the Redmi Note 10 Pro, a phone that makes its screen and camera its main virtues. It has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch response rate.

It also has the best camera setup of the whole quartet, which stands out for the Samsung ISOCELL HM2 108MP sensor with f / 1.9 aperture, which combines 9 pixels in 1 to produce less heavy 12MP images. This is joined by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f / 2.2, a 5 MP tele-macro camera with f / 2.4 and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera has a 16 MP sensor and an f / 2.45 lens. The recording options are the same, 4K with the rear camera and FullHD with the front.

In this case, the phone works with a Snapdragon 732G processor with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and has a 5,020mAh battery with a 33W load. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

It is already on sale in Spain in Onyx Gray, Glacier Blue and Gradient Bronze starting at 279.99 euros.

Redmi Note 10S, the intermediate option

Redmi Note 10s

The Redmi Note 10S is very similar to the Redmi Note 10, improving its camera and memory configuration. This model has the same 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, the same 5,000 mAh battery with the same 33W charging support, and the same storage options.

Where it differs is, essentially, in the cameras and in performance, as the chipset changes. This Note 10S has a 64 MP main camera with f / 1.79, instead of the 48 MP sensor of the original Note 10. The other cameras are the same, 3 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors on the back and a 13MP selfie lens.

The other difference is the processor, as this phone has MediaTek Helio G95 that is also accompanied with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. It is a processor quite similar to the Snapdragon, only perhaps it is somewhat more focused on the game, so if your idea is to play a long time on your mobile, this is the ideal option.

The Redmi Note 10S will hit the market in April in the colors Onyx Gray, Pebble White and Ocean Blue. At the moment there is no price in Spain.

Redmi Note 10 5G, a very cheap 5G

Redmi Note 10 5G

This cheap 5G loses the AMOLED screen technology although, in exchange, it offers a 6.5-inch FullHD + LCD panel that boasts a variable refresh rate that can reach 90Hz and drop to 30Hz when the content does not need it to save battery. Precialy the battery is another of the different points because, although it is 5,000 mAh, its fast charge goes down to 18W.

The chipset that the mobile uses to guarantee connectivity with 5G networks, the main virtue of this Redmi Note 10 5G, is a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700. Like the rest of the Redmi Note 10 line , the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a key difference in its photographic section: Its triple camera setup loses the wide angle and is left with a 48 main camera. MP with aperture f / 1.79, as well as a 2MP macro + depth duo with f / 2.4. On the front there is an 8 MP selfie camera, also inferior to that of its brothers.

The Redmi Note 10 5G goes on sale next month in Onyx Gray, Glacier Blue and Gradient Bronze. Its price for Spain is also, today, a mystery.

Which one do I buy?

If you take advantage of any of the many promotions that Xiaomi has active for the Redmi Note 10 Pro, there is no doubt. its better camera and better screen, as well as a more powerful processor, make it the ideal purchase.

Redmi Note 10 Pro

By not knowing the price of the Redmi Note 10S yet and if you are not going to use your mobile a lot to play. We could say that if you want to save a little, buy the standard Redmi Note 10 as long as you do not want to work with 5G networks. In this case the option to choose you already know which one is because only one of these 4 phones is compatible with these networks.
