Samsung is gearing up to launch its new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy M22 , next month. On August 11, the manufacturer celebrates a new event where it will present different products among which, we hope, would be this new mid-range whose renderings have just been leaked on the Internet.
In this way we can already put a face to the phone and, realize, that it is actually a clone of another mid-range smartphone of the company, the Galaxy A22 that Samsung launched a few weeks ago in different regions. In fact, both the front look and the camera package and the texture of the back case, which can be seen in these photos, are almost clones between the two phones.
From its lines and shapes we can highlight that the Samsung phone has a square-shaped camera module on the back that houses four sensors that, we assume, will be a wide-angle as the main one, an ultra-wide-angle lens, a macro sensor and a focus assist lens. The LED light is located under this encapsulation while the vertical striped design returns to the protagonist of the smartphone in this profile.
Looking forward, the screen has a waterdrop notch, so we are facing one of the panels that Samsung calls Infinity V. According to the photos of the Galaxy M22 , the device will be available in black, blue and white color variants. .
Its characteristics, also leaked
According to what has been leaked from the phone, other its passage through different certification agencies, we would be facing a model that would boast a 6.4-inch HD + Super AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels. . Under the hood, it will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, although presumably there would be some more version with larger storage.
There will be a 13 megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 housed in the front notch while inside it should be noted a 5000 mAh battery with 25 W cable fast charging support . Of course, the smartphone will feature GPS, LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, Dual SIM (nano-SIM), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone would not be compatible with 4G networks but it is to be imagined that the brand could launch a version compatible with these networks later.
As for the price, there is talk that the Galaxy M22 could reach stores for 239.90 euros for the 4 GB + 128 GB variant.
