Some “older” NVIDIA graphics cards in their Founders Edition version allowed lighting control. To manage the lighting you need the NVIDIA LED Visualizer software. Said software was independent, but as of GeForce Experience 3.0 it has been integrated. We are going to explain how to control the lighting of your NVIDIA GTX Founders Edition graphics card.
If you don’t know, NVIDIA usually offers GeForce graphics cards with their own design. These models, with NVIDIA’s own heatsink system, are called Founders Edition. These models are limited edition, they are numbered units and then you have to go to the market for the models of the different assemblers. The Founders Editions are based on the company’s MSRP, which is why they are in high demand.
NVIDIA LED Visualizer compatible graphics
This tool does not work for most modern graphics cards, it only works for certain models . It is only compatible with graphics cards up to the GTX 10 Series, which are the latest to include lighting in the model offered by NVIDIA.

Lighting editing
Using NVIDIA’s LED Visualzier application, we can modify the illumination color of the GeForce GTX logo. It is not necessary to have GeForce Experience software installed in order to use this software. We only have to download the program, which is quite simple to use and allows us to control the lighting of the graphics card.
Now, you know that the illumination of these reference charts from the manufacturer of green only consists of the words “GEFORCE GTX” in green, and the only thing we can control is the intensity of it (including turning it off), as well as some effects that are limited to the usual breathing or synchronicity with the audio. In any case, it is good to be able to control it because there are many users -among whom I include myself- who are bothered by the intensity of the lighting, or simply see that its green color does not match the aesthetics they have inside their teams.
