How to Configure the Permissions of Samsung Mobile Apps

There is no doubt that Android 10 has meant a clear improvement in the management of the permissions of our mobiles and One UI has adopted various ways of accessing what elements of our system have the apps that we install on our Samsung mobile.

Configure the Permissions of Samsung Mobile Apps

You control the permissions of the apps has become something essential today if we want to keep our privacy and security safe. In the same way, it allows us to detect those programs or abusive applications that try to access more information than necessary on our mobile. And is that … Why do you need a flashlight app to access the microphone or camera of our mobile?

Samsung places so much importance on permission control that it gives you an entire section within the phone settings.

Find the permissions granted to the apps

As soon as you open the configuration panel of your Samsung mobile, you can scroll to the bottom to locate the Privacy settings. Once inside, the first option you see on the screen is that of Permission Management. Press on it to know all the information registered by the apps installed on the mobile (physical activities, camera, contacts, microphone, calendar, warehouse and a long etc …)

By clicking on each of the permissions , for example camera, we can see all the applications that have known access to said element. If we want to revoke it, just click on any of the applications that appear in the list and select the option deny. Of course, every time you use the app again you will be asked to access this permission if you want to use the camera, otherwise you will lose this functionality in that app.

What permissions does an application have?

But instead of having to go one by one from the Samsung Permissions Manager , we can do it from another much more practical menu.

Go back to your mobile settings and locate the section dedicated to applications. Once inside you will see a list of all the programs installed on your phone. Select the one for which you want to know all the permissions that have been granted and, at the bottom, choose the Permissions option.
