Buying a new mobile is not an easy task, much less when the options that 2020 leaves us in the mid-range are so similar and a small detail can make a difference. To help you with the choice, this time we compare and face the Redmi Note 9 with the Realme 7 Pro , two benchmark smartphones in this sector with an attractive price.
The first of them, the Redmi Note 9 arrived several months ago but its great potential will last much longer, the Redmi Note 9 series has become a benchmark before others and will show it in the comparison. More recently we find the Realme 7 Pro, a device that includes the surname Pro because it has some features that will make it leave the Redmi behind.
Design and displays
Looking closely at the design of the model hands, we notice that they are not so different from the front but from the back, with camera modules that change completely. As for the memory options Redmi offers us two alternatives with 3 or 4 GB of RAM along with 64 or 128 GB of memory. On the contrary, the Realme 7 Pro offers us 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. In both cases of type LPDDR 4X and with UFS 2.1 memory, which can be expanded in both cases by Micro SD.
Which cameras are better?
Although the two models have a quad rear camera, the data is not identical and will give us slightly different results. In this price range, 4G technology continues to be the weapon, with everything necessary in the two mobiles such as the audio jack, USB Type C, Bluetooth 5 and the NFC. As for the battery, we are curious because there is a greater battery capacity in the Redmi Note 9 but a fast charge of 65W in the Realme 7 Pro . We will have to choose whether we prefer the Redmi with 5,020 mAh + 18W or 4,500 mAh + 65W.
MIUI 12 vs Realme UI
Xiaomi’s cape is a veteran and Realme’s an exponent that has a lot of potential, at this point the users’ choice will be very important and therefore we recommend that you trust what you have to try. MIUI 12 offers us many tricks, options and added tools, something that Realme increasingly integrates with more care. In both cases the updates will be kept up to date for the next two years and the arrival of Android 11 will be imminent.
Prices and purchase recommendation
The prices of both models will be very different and this will make us debate with ourselves about which one is better to buy. On the one hand, the Redmi Note 9 4 GB + 128 GB can be found for 185 euros, which is a difference of 90 euros that rises in the Realme 7 Pro model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB.
To choose one of the two we have to ask ourselves if the investment of 90 euros is worth it, something that in our opinion is like that. It will be better to buy the Realme 7 Pro since it offers us a better processor, the same happens in the cameras or the screen and also a fast charge that will avoid many problems. As for the design it is something more personal, but the Realme model seems clearly a winner.
