Chrome Trick: Clear the Cache and Temps with a Keyboard Shortcut

Web browsers are one of the programs that generate the most junk and unnecessary files . As we use them, they save all kinds of files (session and tracking cookies, temporary files, cache, etc.) that, although their objective is to improve our browsing experience, in the end they only serve to reduce our privacy, occupy space. and often lead to browser issues. Chrome, like any other browser, allows us to see and delete all this data . What we surely do not know is that we can do it with just pressing three keys.

As in many programs, we can carry out a large number of tasks with Chrome’s keyboard shortcuts. These shortcuts allow us to open new tabs, new windows, go to incognito mode and scroll through the webs, and through the browser options, without using the mouse. Among the many keyboard shortcuts offered by this browser, there is one that is especially striking.

The standard way to erase Chrome browsing data is to do it from the options menu, specifically from the Privacy and security> Clear browsing data section. Here we can review all the data that the browser saves from our session and choose the ones we want to delete or leave. But if we often go to this section we are surely wasting time.

Google introduced a simple keyboard shortcut long ago that will allow us to directly open the panel to erase Chrome’s browsing data. To do this, all we have to press is Control + Shift + Del . In doing so, we will go directly to the next section of the Chrome configuration, from where we can erase our data.
