Change the SIM PIN
On Android
To change the method of the SIM card we will only have to enter the Settings menu of our mobile. Then go to the option “Security and Location” or “Security and Privacy” depending on the model of our Android mobile. Then we must enter “Privacy” and select the “SIM card lock” option. Once inside, click on “Change SIM card PIN”. Next we will be asked to enter the current PIN, and then enter the new PIN twice. Once ready, it will be the one that we will have to introduce when turning on the phone.
On iPhone
The process on iPhone is just as simple, but the steps to get there are different when facing a very different operating system. To change the PIN code we will have to enter Settings and then click on “Mobile Data”. Once inside, click on “SIM Pin” and click on “Change PIN”. Now we only have to enter the current PIN and then enter the new one that we want to have in our SIM. Once done, the new PIN will also be requested every time we turn on the device.
Change unlock PIN

In this case we will also have to enter the Settings menu and tap on “Security”. Then we tap on “ Screen Lock” and then choose the PIN option. In this case we will have to enter a code of at least four digits. It should be remembered that the longer it is, the more security it will offer. If we already have a previous PIN, we must enter it as a security measure before registering the new one. Once done, it will be requested every time the mobile screen is turned on.
On iPhone
We go to the Settings and enter Face ID and code or Touch ID and code. Then we enter the option “Change code”. The mobile will ask us to enter a new six-digit code or a personalized numeric code or a personalized alphanumeric code. Then, when the screen is locked, it will not ask for the new code.
