Can't you talk on the phone? The Samsung Galaxy will speak for you

We live in a world where we barely have time for anything and smartphones are becoming more and more adapted to this situation. That is why today you can do practically anything with your smartphone and, soon, you will also be able to make a call much more comfortably on your Samsung Galaxy.

It was during the presentation of One UI 5.0 where the South Korean brand commented on all the news that was about to reach users once the update of the layer based on Android 13 was deployed. Among the important features that they announced, one of the most outstanding is the Bixby Text Call feature.

Answer any call on your Samsung

From the Asian company they are aware of the situation of users and the frenzy of today’s life. That is why they have developed a system to improve the experience when talking on the phone thanks to Samsung’s voice assistant. With Bixby’s Text Call option you can answer a call by typing a text message , while it will also display what the person on the other end is saying, converting their audio into text.

This feature probably sounds familiar to you, since Google has similar functions known as Direct My Call and Call Screening. However, it is not available for all Android devices, but only for the Google Pixel of the brand itself. Samsung has taken example of this option to add this property in the future version of its customization layer.

Bixby

There is no doubt that it is a quite interesting quality, especially considering the possibilities. The Korean company itself guaranteed a clear example, such as when you are on public transport or any other place where the sound captured with your Samsung Galaxy is not optimal and your voice is not well heard.

In this sense, the Bixby Text Call option will be of great help to answer a phone call when the conditions are not the best. Mainly, because it offers the alternative of talking on the mobile by writing texts. Be careful, because you can only see the written text and not hear it, so there is no reading function at the moment. This means that only the caller will hear the assistant’s voice.

When will this feature arrive?

Of course, this novelty of the system is only available in South Korea, although Samsung itself has confirmed that it expects support for English to be compatible in early 2023 . At the moment they have not confirmed anything about compatibility with Spanish, but surely the list of languages will gradually increase so that the entire community can make use of this striking function.
