In our daily use of the mobile there are many problems that can arise. This time we are going to try to recover the sound of calls in Motorola since several users have complained of problems related to this in the official forums of the company. Do not disturb mode is on
One option that may be preventing calls from ringing is the do not disturb mode that was integrated in Android 10 to mobiles. This option allows only some prominent contacts to call us or that no one can call us unless they repeat the call in a few minutes. The option is very interesting but it can make us go around a lot until we find why the calls do not ring on Motorola and other smartphones.
To fix it, we just have to slide the shortcut bar and deactivate the do not disturb mode that is usually identified with a moon or forbidden sign. Change the ringtone
Although it may sound strange, a file that we are using as a ringtone may have disappeared from the phone and would be causing us not to hear sounds when someone calls us. Fixing it is very easy, because we only have to go into Settings> Sounds and touch on the phone’s ringtone option. Then we choose one of those that comes by default and we will not have this failure again.
As a last solution, the hard reset
In case the problem is not finished solving and we have nothing else to hold onto, we will have to opt for the hard reset that erases everything on the mobile. Before this we will have to save our files on another device and make sure we have more than 60% battery to follow these steps:
- We turn off the phone in a traditional way.
- We press and hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until the phone vibrates.
- With the volume keys we go down to the Recovery mode option.
- Press the power button to enter.
- If you see an Android with a red exclamation point, press and hold the power button and then tap the volume up button to display the menu options.
- Now we select Wipe data / factory reset.
- We confirm Yes.
- Finally we choose Reboot system now.
