It was expected that the Black Shark family of Xiaomi gaming mobiles released the new Snapdragon 865+ processor and it has been so. After some previous leaks and snacks from the company itself, now we can see the detail of the Black Shark 3S, which is already official and that arrives loaded with news.
The Black Shark 3 is already a powerful and complete terminal in many aspects, but the arrival of Qualcomm’s new vitaminized processors, forces to move the tab and launch variants that integrate them. At the end of the day, if you boast the highest power on the market, you must have the best processor. And that is what the new Black Shark 3S does, which maintains the essence of its brother but with improvements to take into account.
Continuist design
The design is very similar to Black Shark 3, with its futuristic gaming style and showing the rear cameras in a triangular shape. It also has the Black Shark 3 logo that has RGB lighting and can be adapted in tones and intensity to the game played on screen.
How could it be otherwise, the terminal sports a large 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that is compatible with HDR10 + and allows to reach a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a sampling frequency of 270 Hz. Its tactile response is only 17 milliseconds and it is compatible with other display technologies such as TrueView Display to enhance colors and DC Dimming, an intelligent brightness control.
The most powerful on the market
As we say, inside it integrates the powerful Snapdragon 865+, which is accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and memory options of 128, 256 or 512 GB. It has the UFS 3.1 read and write standard and Xiaomi ensures that its RAM is 50% faster, being LPDDR5 compared to LPDDR4 memories.
Battery and fast charge
A gaming mobile of this caliber cannot lack a good battery, so it integrates no less than 4,720 mAh with a fast charge of 65W and that allows the entire battery to be charged in about 40 minutes approximately. It also integrates a magnetic charging system and has 5G connectivity.
Triple camera with 64MP
In the section of its cameras, despite not being the main thing of the mobile, the Black Shark 3S is not lame either. It incorporates a main 64 megapixel sensor , accompanied by a 13 megapixel wide angle and a third 5 megapixel sensor.
The mobile comes with some new features that were previously revealed by the brand, such as the possibility of connecting a mouse and keyboard , a new “screen mirroring” system and controls adapted to movement, which execute actions within games.
Price and date of sale
The Black Shark 3 can now be purchased at the company’s official store in China. The prices of the three variants are as follows, although the 512 GB version will be available later:
- Black Shark 3S 12GB + 128GB: 3,999 yuan (about 480 euros)
- Black Shark 3S 12GB + 256GB: 4,299 yuan (about 520 euros)
- Black Shark 3S 12GB + 512GB: 4,799 yuan (about 580 euros)
At the moment we do not know the global marketing plans for the device . However, the European division of Black Shark has never missed the appointment, so we hope to hear from you soon about its price and launch date in Spain.
