If you want to share your location with someone from Google Maps, you can easily do it from your mobile like this:
- Open Google Maps and sign in
- Click on your profile image or initial
- Select Share location
- Confirm the time you want to share location (1 hour, until you deactivate this option)
- Tap the profile of the person you want to give access to that data
- If you don’t have a contact to share, you can easily add one
- Click on Share
You can do this on both Android phones and your iPhone, and for as long as you need. Of course, to share for more than 24 hours, you may need to indicate your age and be over 18 years of age.
Telegram, also with notifications when you are nearby

- Open Telegram
- Go to the chat you want
- Click on the attachment icon (next to micro, at the bottom right)
- Click on Location
- Choose Location in real time
- Choose the time (15 minutes, 1 hour, 8 hours)
- Confirm on Share
In order to receive a warning when you are close to someone, you just have to click on the preview of their map and click on the bell icon with the radar. Choose the distance at which you want to be notified, also share your location when asked and that’s it.
To stop sharing at any time you can wait for time to pass or click on the image of your location and hit ‘Stop sharing’ that you will see on the screen, below everything.
