Google is the most used search engine worldwide. Every day, millions of people perform all kinds of searches through this web browser. And given that Google’s main source of revenue is advertising, it’s normal for the company to try to, at a minimum, advertisements and other sponsored content with which to earn additional revenue.
When we perform a search on this search engine, sometimes we can find hidden “ads” between the results. Generally at the beginning. Sometimes these ads may correspond to what we are looking for, but other times they may not even have anything to do. What they are are almost always inconveniences.

Just install the extension in our browser, it will start working automatically. When we do a search on Google, and this has at the beginning any ad, the extension will allow us to easily highlight them so that we can differentiate them from the rest of the results.
By default, this extension marks them with a transparent yellow shade , but if we click on the extension icon, to the right of the address bar, we can see how we can easily customize the highlight color of these ads.
This extension does not block ads or alter the operation of the search engine at all. We must bear in mind that not all searches return ads, so if after installing the extension we do not see them, it is precisely because of this Google behavior.
Let’s continue using the search engine in a normal way, that sooner or later the ads will appear again. And when they do, they will be marked by this extension.
One way to make the ads more useful
Google always targets the ads it shows in its search engine based on the searches and interests collected according to the IP address of the users. Therefore, users will see at all times ads that may be useful, ads focused on their interests.
However, what you don’t like is that these ads try to sneak through hoaxes. Thanks to Google Search Ads Highlighter, it is possible to subtract Google mischievously so that you can more easily differentiate ads from other Google search results and, in passing, make these ads more useful.
