It is not that Apple TV is one of the devices that we use the most, such as mobile phones or computers, but it is at least tedious to find faults when we go to play or enjoy multimedia content on it. That is why in this article we tell you how to end the failures of your Apple TV if it is blocked, either sporadically or continuously.
The Apple TV remote could be the cause
The control of the device, be it the Siri Remote, a previous one or compatible with the device, is usually a problem in many cases. If it has a problem to function correctly, you may experience how the interface is slow and even crashes. The first advice we give you to rule out that this is the problem is that you try to move around tvOS with the iPhone remote function, if you have one. If with this you check that everything is going well, there is no doubt, it is the Apple TV remote that is failing.
Turn Apple TV off and on
Once the above is discarded, it is time to find one of the dumbest possible solutions, but at the same time more effective. Electronic devices like this usually process a multitude of operations that often get stuck in the background, thereby generating unexpected failures such as application crashes or closings. The way to end them is by turning the device off and on.
Perhaps you already know that the Apple TV cannot be turned off as such, but put into sleep mode . Perhaps this mode could work for you, although if you accept our advice, not only put the device in this mode, but disconnect it from the power for several seconds so that it can turn off completely. Then plug it back in, turn it on and check that everything is fine.
Update to the latest version of software

What should you do with the applications

To do this, you will have to press twice on the upper right button of the remote and slide the windows up with the trackpad so that they close. Restore the device completely
