On September 15, at the first major event of the three Apple seen this fall, the company presented us with Apple Fitness +, a new service that will allow millions of people to get sports training from their brand devices and especially from Apple Watch. However, no release date was announced and officially there is still no day marked. However, there are already several indications that it could arrive very soon.
Coaches already “promote” it
This new service, which for the moment will only be available in the United States , is priced at $ 4.99 per month or $ 79.99 per year. It also falls within a superior Apple One package that is only accessible precisely in the North American country. This service will include video trainings carried out by professional trainers in the sector. Well, precisely some of these ‘trainers’ have already dropped on their social networks that the arrival of Apple Fintess + is imminent.
Kim Ngo, Amir Ekbatani, Josh Crosby, Betina Gozo and the rest of the trainers made a publication four days ago on their respective Instagram accounts with an image in which we could see them in what looks like a recording for Apple Fitness +. The text that accompanies these publications also mentions the service, including the final hashtag #CloseYourRings used by Apple and thousands of users for the famous challenge of closing the Apple Watch rings.
Joint release with iOS 14.3?
The fact that these coaches have made these publications at the same time suggests that it could be a campaign orchestrated by Apple itself with the aim of preparing the environment for the launch of the service. In the current betas of iOS 14.3 it has been possible to find the odd clue as a welcome screen to the service that could well be gutting the launch of Fitness + along with this software version.
At the moment we do not know when iOS 14.3 will be released either, but it would not be surprising if it happened at any time. Unless Apple has to muddle through with a security update, this version of the operating system will be the last of this 2020. So we will be attentive the day it is launched to verify if this service is finally available.
A little more will have to wait to see if Apple Fitness + extends to more countries. We would love to say that there are forecasts of this happening, but the truth is that it is not. Unlike another platform that is not in Europe, such as Apple News +, this one would not have legal inconveniences in arriving. Therefore, we will have to keep waiting to enjoy it in countries like Spain.
