I don’t know if you have had the same feeling as I did when you tried Android 13 for the first time , but the new update to the operating system has come with important improvements, some of which I have fallen in love with. I can’t live without many of them anymore and I can’t imagine going back.

The mobile tells you which apps are still active
You can easily find out which applications are active from the mobile itself so that you are more aware of what you are using and how it consumes your resources. You will see it on the screen at the bottom of the quick settings and you can touch to get more information about it.
You can know not only which apps are active and running, even if you’re not using them, but you can also easily stop them so that your battery lasts longer and doesn’t use resources that will be used for other more important tasks. Above all, if the app is active without you using it, something that at least happens to me frequently.
Privacy is complete
I really wanted to be able to fully control my own privacy and have a more secure mobile. So the new security features have been quite pleasing to me. One of the most outstanding is the panel, since it tells me which applications have obtained my location and at what time , so I can know if there is something strange or if I want to change that because I am not interested in them having access to this information. Especially in apps that I need to give them this permission once, I give it to them and then they always have access to this information.
It tells me up to the exact time they’ve used this permission in the last 24 hours, and I can easily manage it from there.
In the privacy panel , I can control the permissions, the access to the camera, micro, if I want to show the passwords when typing or not and much more. I see who has had access to the microphone, camera or location, among other permissions such as file permissions, physical activity and more.
It is clear that they have improved a lot and allow me to control my privacy much better and faster. It’s not something I consult very often, but it’s nice to have the option and you might even make some unexpected discoveries.
I find everything from the search engine
It is extremely practical, I go to the search engine and indicate what I want and it already appears there. I save a lot of time every day, especially since I tend to look for a lot of things and sometimes get scattered. Having the same place where you can consult what you want is extremely practical.
I just do the search and it will show me the matching saved contacts, apps, options and more, all at my fingertips in seconds. There may be someone who does not see a need for this function, but for me it is one of the best ideas Google has ever had.
Personalization with wallpaper tones
An attractive and harmonious design affects our productivity, even if we are not aware of it. For this reason, being able to customize icons, options, and the keyboard with the tones of the wallpaper is a success. I wasn’t sure about it until I tried it, but now I find it very interesting.
If you want to give it a try, just go to the Wallpaper and style settings. The background and basic color options will appear and you choose the one you want. Below you will see the dark theme and other options.
Personalization in Android 13 continues to be a very focused area, so it allows us to go beyond the usual options and I really like that.
