It seemed that this day would never come but finally the manufacturers begin to put the batteries and, after the launch of the new Pixel 6, now everyone wants to announce that Android 12 will reach many of their mobiles. This is the case of the Chinese firm.
The new operating system can already be tested on Google phones but firms like Samsung, who have already announced One UI 4 based on Android 12, OPPO with ColorOS or Realme with Realme UI 3.0 are also joining the party. As for Xiaomi , the OEM has also started working on the new software, which will come from the hand of MIUI 13 , for most of its smartphones.
Dozens of mobiles will be updated
The manufacturer’s official Twitter has shared a fairly long list, great news for all those who want to leave behind the many errors of MIUI 12 and see how their device evolves.
Right now there are already several devices in beta phase that should be the first to receive the official Android 12 update . We have devices that have not yet arrived in Spain like others that have been with us for a few months:

- Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro
- Xiaomi 11i, Mi 11 Lite (4G / 5G / NE)
- Xiaomi Mi 10 series
- Redmi Note 11 series
- Redmi K30 5G
- Redmi Note 10 series

- Little X3 Pro
- Little M3 Pro 5G
There are also models that have already been testing the latest version of Google’s operating system such as the Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40 Pro +, Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, as well as the Redmi 10X series, Redmi Note 9 series, Redmi series K30, POCO X2, POCO X3, POCO X3 NFC and POCO M3 / M2 Pro.
For later there are other phones of the brand such as the Mi Note 10 Lite, Mi Note 10, Mi Note 10 Pro / Mi CC9 Pro and even the Mi MIX Fold. If we add all the variants of each of these phones, which are many, the number of Xiaomi phones that will be updated to Android 12 is very close to one hundred.
Unfortunately, when software is announced for a certain number of phones, it means that there are others that will be out of update. In the case of the Chinese firm, the models that will “die” in Android 11 are all those members of the Mi 9 series, the Mi CC9 / CC9 Meitu, the Redmi K20 series, the Redmi Note 9, the Redmi 9 series, the Redmi Note 9 series, Redmi 10X 4G series, POCO C3 and POCO M2 / M2 Reloaded.
