It is found in Europe.
This is connected to the European Center for Marine Energy in order to supply energy. It is anchored at sea in the United Kingdom and is connected by a submarine cable to the electrical network on land.
It looks like an airplane, but it isn’t
Although at first glance it may look like an airplane , due to the two huge bladed turbines on its sides, it is the most powerful source of tidal energy in the world.
Each of the blades has a size of 10 meters and in total the structure occupies about 600 square meters, to cover as much land as possible.

Its mechanism that helps create energy was created in Scotland at the beginning of this year and then transported to another area also in Scotland. This system concludes a work of more than a decade by the United Kingdom.
Regarding its measurements, it is more than 70 meters long and it is estimated that for the next 15 years it will function perfectly in marine waters. Its construction was approved by several organisms.
A powerful and sustainable turbine
It can produce up to two megawatts of electricity, which is used to power around 2,000 or so houses in the UK each year. In addition, in this way it will also allow that tons of CO2 harmful to the environment are not emitted per year.
It has been placed in a strategic area where there are strong ocean currents, in order to take advantage of this and generate even more energy.
Now that this turbine is already installed in the middle of the sea, what the developers are looking for is to market it by deploying different arrays that offer many megawatts of energy. It is also expected that the price will be reduced when the turbine is commercialized , since putting it into operation has cost a lot of money.
