Huami is the company in charge of giving life to Xiaomi’s products related to smart bracelets, watches and scales, so all kinds of launches and presentations made by the former are nothing more than simple advances of what the latter could receive in the future .
Knowing this, it is interesting to see how after the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5, Huami seems to be preparing the presentation of its next smart bracelet, the Amazfit Band 6 . This is what we can understand thanks to the fact that the product has been cast on AliExpress by mistake, revealing its main characteristics.
SpO2 finally
Among the list of features that have been seen, the incorporation of one of the measurements that is missing in the latest Xiaomi model stands out. And is that now that many people are concerned about health, knowing the levels of oxygen in the blood is something quite useful to periodically review the performance of our lungs. That is what the SpO2 is for, a very useful measurement system that unfortunately did not come included in the Mi Band 5, and that this Band 6 seems to include.
This measurement would also be accompanied by the heart rate sensor with constant measurement, which is capable of measuring the rhythm of our heart 24 hours a day without stopping.
Alexa also included
Another feature that was especially expected in the Mi Band 5 was the incorporation of a voice assistant. Actually, the Mi Band 5 with NFC includes it, but we are talking about the XiaoIA assistant, which works only in Chinese and that obvious reasons has not reached this other side of the planet.
The option of Amazfit, however, goes through including the famous Amazon assistant , since Alexa will be available on the bracelet so that we can give orders with the voice and control our home automation or manage all kinds of smart functions.
Importantly, the fine print makes it clear that Alexa will be available via an OTA update , so it may not come with the product launch.
No trace of NFC
Unfortunately this Amazfit Band 6 does not include NFC with which to make mobile payments, although we do not know if it is because there will be two versions, being the one published on Aliexpress that does not have it integrated. Therefore, we will keep that thread of hope waiting to know the final outcome. If included, we could be talking about the best smart bracelet on the market today.

The good news is that its distribution will be global, so we could see it soon in Spain if the launch does not take too long. Why would Huami launch a Band superior to that of Xiaomi in such a short time? This is something we cannot understand, so we will see what happens at the end.
