The S-Pen is the Samsung accessory that enthusiasts in the world of mobile telephony like the most, allowing to write on the mobile as with a pencil on paper thanks to its thousands of pressure levels. Currently it can be used with more and more mobile phones of the brand.

The arrival of the S21 Ultra has expanded the uses of the Samsung S-Pen, until recently an exclusive feature of the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Tab. Currently, these are all the devices where we can work with the Samsung accessory.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra presented earlier this year has become the first mobile of the brand, outside the Note family, to be able to use the S-Pen. Of course, you will not find it included in the mobile box, because you must buy it separately with a special case to house it, and its functions are somewhat more limited than those seen in the Note, with its special software optimized for its use.

More mobiles in the future

The brand wants to expand the use of the S-Pen to more Samsung phones in the near future, although it is not clear which models will enjoy it.

Samsung’s S Pen basically uses Wacom technology, which makes it possible to differentiate it from a generic capacitive stylus. It has thousands of pressure points so it is almost like a real pen. However, they are not all the same and they are not interchangeable, which is why the accessory compatible with mobile phones will not work with Samsung tablets and vice versa.
