They had been rumored since the beginning of the year and today, finally, they are official. The apple company has already officially announced its new headphones under the popular AirPods brand that has left users with such good memories. These come with a headband style and more focused on professional use for their tremendous sound quality and other features that Californians have released through a press release on December 8.

These new AirPods Studio are featured with a headband design as rumored for many months with ear pads to ensure the best sound quality. Each of the headphones has an innovative system that allows to distribute the pressure of the headset to pivot and rotate independently to adapt to the contours of each of the heads. The ear cushions are constructed of memory foam to create an effective seal ensuring passive noise cancellation as well as providing immersive sound.
To control the volume, the digital crown of the Apple Watch has been integrated to offer precise control of the volume as well as to play or pause songs, hang up phone calls or invoke Siri. And for the first time Apple does not launch headphones that are only in white since space gray, green, sky blue and pink are also added.
The only thing that cannot end up making users fall in love is its price that exceeds 600 euros, reaching 629 euros. Obviously these are headphones designed for a very specific audience, especially editing professionals. Not everyone needs to appreciate the quality of music in all its nuances in detail.
‘Impressive’ sound quality
AirPods Max have a 40mm dynamic driver that delivers deep, rich bass at all ranges. They are equipped with the now famous H1 chip in each of the headphones to give rise to computational audio offering the best experience. Active noise cancellation is featured prominently to ensure immersive sound that lets you focus on what you’re doing. Each of the headphones has three microphones whose mission is to capture the ambient sound and using the computational audio, an adaptation of the cancellation will be offered at all times.
Like the AirPods Pro, transparency mode is also integrated to be able to play a song without having to ignore the sound around you. To do this, you simply have to press the noise control button on the headphones on its side. And how could it be otherwise, these AirPods Max include the ability to play content recorded in 5.1, 7.1 and Dolby Atmos (technology present in Apple TV content). With this compatibility and added to the gyroscope and accelerometer, the headphones will know at all times the position of your head to adapt how you hear the sound. Adaptive EQ is also added to this to fine-tune the sound.
All this technology is supported by a battery that offers autonomy of up to 20 hours of audio playback. To ensure durability, the accompanying case with these AirPods Max activates an ultra-low power state that helps conserve battery power when not in use. In addition, it can also be connected through a jack that does not come in the starter kit to avoid using wireless technology. The problem is that this cable comes separately and has a price of 40 euros that can be very high for a jack cable.
