Adventures with Luigi, 2 Player Mode Comes to LEGO Super Mario

Adventures with Luigi, 2 Player Mode Comes to LEGO Super Mario

The LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Luigi Starter Pack is now available for pre-order, but you have to know that the inclusion of the new character is not the only thing it will offer. From now on you can also enjoy a two-player mode that will seek to make this particular way of playing Super Mario more fun.

Luigi and Mario, game for two players

Some guy ago we knew that Lego would finally bring Mario’s brother to his new universe made with the popular building bricks. But we did not know or the news went unnoticed that the collaborative or two-player mode would also arrive with him.

Correct, in the same way that in Nintendo video games you can play with both characters together with another player, now this particular Lego proposal will also allow it. To do this, you just have to pair both figures through their Bluetooth connection. When this happens on your chest screen you will see a yellow scarf indicating that the collaborative mode is activated.

What does this LEGO Super Mario two-player mode offer? Well, when you play with both Luigi and Mario at the same time, the first thing that will change will be the time limit you will have to finish each level. If playing only with Mario you only have 60 seconds, when doing it with both the time will go up to 90 seconds .

In addition to this, the scores will also add up, so that the coins Luigi and Mario collect separately will be counted at the end together. So you could even organize competitions in pairs, where each of the members of these would control one of the two brothers.

In this video published by LEGO itself you can see what exactly this new cooperative or two-player mode is like that the company has introduced to the proposal made jointly with Nintendo.

So now you know, whether you are a fan of LEGO or Super Mario, with the new set you can enjoy a very different way of enjoying these platform worlds as a couple from August 1.

A vice for collectors and fans of Super Mario

When we tried the LEGO Super Mario game experience we had it very clear: playing with the little ones at home was very fun, but as collectible figures they were a real vice. Because the combination of characters so well known to all of us who love video games and LEGO’s ability to replicate a world like Mario’s made them super colorful and very eye-catching.

So we recommend that you do not look at them too much if you do not want to be tempted to get the odd set. Especially the beginning ones, because when you have Mario in your hand and you hear those sounds that remind you so much of the video game…. it is irresistible.
