What is this mode for?
Well, basically we can take full advantage of the main sensor of the camera of our Motorola mobile. Therefore, what this mode does is take advantage of the full resolution of the main sensor to capture larger images than those that can be taken normally with normal photography modes. The advantages of this mode are quite a lot, although they are oriented to specific situations. Basically what we get by activating this mode is the following.
By activating this mode we obtain images with more pixels in a larger file . This in turn allows us to print these photos in a larger size , preserving all their quality, since the scene has been captured with much more information from the sensor, all that it can give us. You can cut out one of these photos in an area that you like, and reproduce or print it with higher quality than if you used the usual mode. Therefore it is the best option if the photos you want to take are finally going to be printed. Of course, it must be taken into account that this sensor works better in good light conditions , preferably outdoors, if you try to take a night photo with it, the result is probably worse than in the usual mode.
How is this mode activated?
You can do it directly from the Motorola camera app:
- Open the camera of your Motorola
- Click on the mode grid
- Click on the “Ultra-Res” mode
Obviously from now on when you take photos with this mode, they will take up more space than usual, so your storage will run out sooner . But it is something that may be worth it depending on the photos you are going to take, and the final destination of these.
