Unfortunately, not all Xiaomi phones still have MIUI 11 or Android 10 to access this mode, but there is a method with which anyone can activate it.

The themes application brings us the dark mode on Xiaomi phones
Based on the well-known Xiaomi themes application, we are going to be able to get our mobile to adopt the dark mode. It is likely that you will not find this application on your mobile, this is because in Spain it is limited and to use it we will have to change our settings. To use the theme application on Xiaomi phones we have to go to Settings, then enter Additional Settings> Region and choose India . This change will not affect the language of our mobile and we will be able to continue using it as before.
Then we go to our tools folder and we should find the Themes application. In case it is not, you can enter GetApps , the Xiaomi application store and from there we go to updates to install the Themes application.
Get dark mode for Xiaomi
Once we have access to the Xiaomi Themes application, we just have to type in the name True Dark . The first of the results will be the one we need to convert our mobile. First of all we download it for free and then we make sure that the blue tick is active both on the lock screen, as well as the system and the icons. Then we tap on apply and it will be applied in the system. Once the theme is applied we can change our region again without the changes being affected.
Apply dark mode in all compatible applications
