Apparently there could be several reasons that make this new version of the console lighter. On the one hand, it could be the screw that has the base that allows you to place the PS5 vertically, a mechanism that the Japanese company implemented to be able to remove and put the base without using any tool to remove it.
However, there is also the possibility that it is an error when transcribing the technical specifications of the console and that it actually continues to weigh exactly the same.
