On a supported Huawei Browser version, open the webpage, open the browser’s menu and look for Translate. Choose the language you want to read. If that control is missing, check the app version and regional availability, or use a web translator for a public page.

Use Huawei Browser’s translation feature
- Open Huawei Browser and load a page written in another language.
- Open its menu, commonly shown as three dots, and look for Translate or a translation control.
- Choose the target language if prompted.
- Use the translation controls to change language or return to the original text.
Huawei’s Browser feature page lists webpage translation. It does not mean that every phone, tablet, region or installed browser version has identical controls.
The default target language may follow your device or browser preferences, but it is not always Spanish or any other fixed language. Review the language offered before accepting the translation.
What if Translate is missing?
| Check | What to do |
|---|---|
| Wrong browser | Confirm whether the page is in Huawei Browser, another browser or an app’s built-in viewer. |
| Old app version | Check official app updates through AppGallery or the device’s supported update route. |
| Model or region differences | Check Huawei’s guidance for your exact device and software. |
| Page content | Try a simple text page; text inside images or an interactive app may behave differently. |
Do not assume an “AI Translate” feature on another Huawei model, such as a tablet, guarantees the same button on your phone. A missing menu does not by itself prove that Google services must be installed.
Use a web translator as a fallback
For a public page, open a translator’s official website in your browser. If it offers website translation, paste the page address and select the language. If it only offers text translation on your screen or in your region, copy a short passage instead.
Google’s mobile website-translation guidance describes supported routes and regional limits. The web option is different from installing the Android app. Do not paste private account pages, confidential text or URLs containing sign-in tokens into an outside translation service.
If you already use Chrome or another browser
Use that browser’s own translation control when available. There is no need to follow Huawei Browser’s menu path inside Chrome. Our general smartphone translation guide covers other approaches.
Why does part of the page remain untranslated?
Menus, images, scanned documents, embedded frames and content loaded after the first view may need separate handling. Try selecting the text or translating the relevant image with a supported tool.
Keep the original available when wording matters. Automatic translation can miss names, product settings and context; a translated button label is not proof that your device has that exact feature.
