Samsung has finally launched its first modular panel MicroLED television . This technology makes it possible to make a large-inch screen taking advantage of the panels with self-emitting LED technology that offers vivid and vibrant colors, allowing to give life to a gigantic screen capable of offering spectacular image quality. But at what cost?
A very special 110-inch TV

After launching monster-sized models with The Wall series, Samsung leaps to the slightly more earthy side to bring the world its new 110-inch TV. Obviously it has a trick, and that is that we are facing an array of MicroLED screens that give life to a gigantic 110-inch diameter wall.
The manufacturer’s idea is to offer a size more adapted to homes, although obviously, they will be quite special homes, since neither the size nor the price of the product will be available to everyone.
Impressive technology

MicroLED technology has provided what many have been imagining for a long time. A television that you can enlarge over time by adding new additional modules and that offers an image quality similar to that of a current television.
The secret lies in the use of micrometer-sized LEDs, which are capable of eliminating backlight and offering 100% of the DCI and Adobe RGB color gamut. In this way, an impressive image of high quality is achieved, which is also capable of maintaining its useful life up to 100,000 hours (more than 10 years) thanks to the inorganic materials with which this MicroLED is manufactured.
Why are there no smaller versions?

The main problem with these modular models is their anchoring system for the wall. The first models of The Wall required quite large structures and anchors that were unfeasible for a domestic installation, however, the manufacturer has managed to evolve the design of its panels to make them more compact and to create a system that is easier to install.
The idea is to continue innovating to be able to give life to smaller models that occupy the minimum space. And it is that a screen of these characteristics is especially attractive if we consider that the image occupies 99.99% of the surface of the television.
How much does a television of these characteristics cost?

Taking into account that we are talking about a completely innovative technology, with a size of 110 inches, a design without bezels or frames, and the possibility of enjoying up to four independent 55-inch screens at the same time, you can get an idea that we are before a product that will not be available to anyone.
Well, this 110-inch MicroLED TV is available from now in Korea with a price of 170 million won, or what is the same, 130,000 euros. At least the sound system saves it, since the screen is capable of emulating a 5.1 sound system without using external speakers. Didn’t you want the best screen for PlayStation 5? Well there you have it.
