We currently have several models of Redmi Note 9, with their differences and similarities, available in the market. This is one of the product lines that is giving Xiaomi the best results and, for this reason, it is surprising that the Chinese firm wants to exploit the “goose that lays the golden eggs” by launching new models of the range on the market.
Redmi is expected to announce news on the Redmi Note 9 series in China this month. Unlike mobile phones presented earlier this year in the international market, which were 4G devices, these new models that will be presented in the Asian country will be compatible with 5G networks . Now we know that these two new smartphones will be called Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition and Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition .

Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition and “High” Edition
The new leak reveals some of the early specs for these models. In this way, what we know about the first of them, the Redmi Note 9 5G , is that it measures 161.96 x 77.35 x 9.2 mm and weighs 200 grams. It will be equipped with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen with a hole punched in the upper left corner. The display supports a Full HD + resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20: 9.
The Redmi Note 9 5G has a 13-megapixel front camera and on its rear we would find a 48-megapixel triple camera system. The processor in charge of providing 5G connectivity to this phone would be the MediaTek Dimensity 800U, which would be complemented by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports a fast charge of 22.5 W.

The Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition , for its part, would sport dimensions of 1654 x 76.8 x 9 mm and a weight of 214 grams. It has a perforated screen in the upper central part with LCD technology and a 6.67-inch size. Here we would find improvements such as a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sample rate. It also supports a Full HD + resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20: 9.
Apparently this would be the cheap Xiaomi mobile that was being talked about so much lately because to the 120 Hz screen we would have to add a camera starring a 108 MP sensor at the head. This would be the Samsung HM2 sensor that would be released worldwide in this Redmi phone , accompanied by 3 other cameras. These specifications make us think that the smartphone would be a slightly modified version of the Mi 10T Lite presented almost a month ago.
The phone would work with the Snapdragon 750 chipset compatible with 5G networks and would have a 4,820 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
