Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 Battery Characteristics Leak and Much More

In recent weeks we have been able to learn about two great features of the future Mi Mix 4 that make it, immediately, one of the most anticipated smartphones from Xiaomi . The first is that it will be the first device of the brand to mount an under-screen camera while, on the other hand, it will be the mobile of the Chinese firm that releases MIUI 13.

After this pair of leaks related to the next premium-range smartphone from the manufacturer, now a new report from China confirms other details of the device, such as that it will be equipped with a BM58 battery with a nominal capacity of 5,000 mAh . But the best of all is not the capacity, quite common if you look at the brand’s catalog, but it will boast a hyperfast 120 W cable load .

We have already seen this speed in some “Ultra” model of the company but in this case we would have to add the 80 W wireless charging support.

Will the Chinese government allow these specifications?

At the beginning of the month we talked about how China wants to limit the high speeds of fast charging of mobile devices, as it has published in its “Interim Provisions on Radio Management of Wireless Charging Equipment”. According to the document, a maximum limit of 50W will be set for wireless loads in order to guarantee the safety of users and electronic equipment, as well as free up space for radio frequencies.

Obviously, these 50W are very far from the 80W that, according to rumors, will allow the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 to be charged over the air in just a few minutes. In fact, this is the highest fast charging support in any of the flagship phones currently on the market, so we could consider the phone as a top-of-the-line premium range, as long as the processor ( it is expected to use the Snapdragon 888) accompany the rest of the specifications.

It is said that the phone will have the latest generation of camera technology under the screen to offer a full screen experience, one of the hallmarks of the Mi Mix family. It would do it in exchange for losing screen resolution quality, going from 2K, to a Full HD + panel that, it is rumored, will be specially customized to offer better results compared to the resolution of a standard Full HD + screen.

At the moment we do not have the date of presentation of the mobile or, of course, any confirmation of these leaks.
