This new Mi Band 5 is characterized by improving everything that the Mi Band 4 already offered. From the heart rate monitoring to the screen that is now much larger , to be exact, 20% wider than the Mi Band 4. This has forced the pickup to slightly increase its dimensions, as face to face, the new Mi Band 5 is slightly thicker and slightly wider. What we are going to find now are new software-level features such as stress level detection, breathing exercises, female health monitoring (menstrual cycle) and monitoring of the PAI score – an own scoring system for platform users.

- Water resistance : The band will have protection of up to 50 meters of immersion, so you can use it for swimming, showering and wetting it in general.
- Large capacity battery : With a capacity of 125 mAh, the battery promises up to 14 days of autonomy. It needs 1.5 hours to fully charge.
- Menstrual cycle : The Mi Band 5 also includes the function of controlling the menstrual cycle within the health control function for women.

The official launch price in China is 189 yuan for the normal version and 229 yuan for an NFC-enhanced version. This, at the current currency exchange, represents approximately 23 and 28 euros respectively.
