The bad news is that, again, it has little. The smartband that Xiaomi has just presented is nothing more than a rebranding of the Redmi Band launched on the market a few weeks ago.
As such it is a bracelet that, at the level of specifications, falls below the Mi Band 5 and Mi Band 4 and its main virtue is a design change that turns to a more square and polygon screen than what we can find in what high in the firm’s wearables catalog. In fact, if you had to lock it to another device, it would be with the Realme Band of its most direct competitor.
Will it arrive?
Revealed along with the Redmi 9A at the end of May by the Philippine division of Xiaomi, we now have the official information of the brand’s new device and we can confirm that it is nothing more than the same Redmi Smart Band marketed by the firm’s sub-brand a few weeks ago. . Apparently, there are no differences at all, which means that in those markets where the Redmi Smart Band has already been released, the My Band 4C will not appear.
We do not have either, so it is difficult to know which of the two models will land in our stores at a price of 19.99 euros in exchange. Most likely, its gap is filled by the Mi Band 5 and the brand does not want to detract from this launch with more versions of previous bracelets.
Features of the “new” Xiaomi bracelet
All the features of the Redmi Band are present in the new bracelet so no one will be surprised to find a 1.08-inch square color screen available in four colors: black, blue, red and brown.
