There is no doubt since Huawei announced and officially presented HarmonyOS 2.0 to the world, there are many users who want to have this new version of the operating system of the Chinese firm. However, its deployment for now has only begun in its country of origin and, for now, there is nothing about the possible date of arrival in Spain.
However, this fact represents a turning point for the company in our country, since since the US sanction, the number of sales and its position as a brand in our country have been drastically reduced. The reasons you won’t like HarmonyOS 2.0
Although we are still waiting for the Chinese firm to announce a more or less approximate date of the beginning of the implementation of HarmonyOS 2.0 in Spanish mobiles, the truth is that we already know some of the points that national users will not like. More than anything, because the veto will continue to be present in a certain way, since Google Services is still an odyssey.
By this we mean that, by having this Huawei operating system, we will be losing each and every one of the apps that Google offers us . For this reason, one of the first obstacles that the Asian manufacturer will have to face will be the fact of convincing users that they have been able to replace the experiences that we all have on our Android mobile thanks to the different Google applications.
For example, we can use our Gmail mail, but not use the app itself, in addition to that we cannot use Google Maps, but we can use any other map application. For this reason, the real point on which Huawei will have to focus will be to be able to compete with the GMS and offer a wide catalog that replaces these services of the Mountain View company.
Points in favor of Huawei’s new system
However, not all are points against the new operating system of the smartphone brand. For example, your main idea of being able to create a “super device” will be the key so that we can use each of your devices in order to link easily so that they communicate in a much faster way. You can even control any of them from a single device that we are using at the same time.
In addition, it must be borne in mind that this new version, initially as stated by Huawei, will be compatible with a large majority of its devices , from smartphones to smart watches. Another point in favor is that for example, one of its latest smart watches, the Watch 3, is compatible with all Android phones and iPhones. So this fact makes us suppose that if we have another bracelet we can connect it without problems to our mobile device when we have HarmonyOS. Although it is clear that their true triumph is in themselves they will be able to compete against Google.
