At the moment there are many proposals in the form of an operating system that we can use for our work with the PC. The truth is that when it comes to desktops, the undisputed leader here is Windows 10 , but that does not mean that it is the only one, or even the best, for some.
Therefore, this means that we have a wide variety of proposals of this type when deciding on a specific one for our PC . Of course, the decision is important if we have acquired a new computer, or if we want to change of scene with one that we already had. But for these reasons, it is important that first of all we take into account some important aspects, such as the type of use we want to give it, or the budget we have, for example.
Keep in mind that we do not change operating systems every day, not even every month, mostly because it is a nuisance. Depending on the budget
We have already told you that in desktop environments, at the moment Windows 10 is the undisputed leader. But of course, we must bear in mind that this is a paid software. Even when we get a new PC and it comes with Windows 10 pre-installed, we somehow pay for it, since the manufacturer doesn’t come for free.
Say that the basic version of the Redmond system , the Home edition, is around 150 euros, so if that’s our budget, perfect. Windows 10 Pro already exceeds 200 euros. There are many who currently use their PC to play, so they buy a gaming computer, or update theirs for these tasks. Now, if what we are looking for is to have complete availability to the games we want to run, we are going to be almost forced to opt for Windows 10.
It is true that on a Linux PC we can also play , but the availability of compatible titles is not the same, and in many cases the experience is not the same.

Of course, on the contrary, if what we want is to give a second life to a PC that is out of date, it is best to use Linux.
