It has been almost a month since the last Apple Event in which the Californian company presented new products. However, we have only seen the AirTags so far, since the locator accessory arrived in the last week of April. But when will the rest of the devices be ready? If we go to the Apple website they are still available for reservation, but do not buy, which indicates that they are not officially launched on the market as such.
This week the devices would begin to arrive
If you are one of the many people who reserved one of Apple’s new products, at the time you made that reservation you would see in the information that the estimated arrival date was for the second half of May. Since last Saturday we have already entered this period, so the launch could be imminent. If the new deadlines set for many users are met, that could begin to occur this week.
There are already buyers around the world who claim that the shipping date of their device has changed and they already have periods that include between May 21 and 27. I mean, between this Friday and Thursday of next week. This would also confirm the forecast of several analysts such as Jon Prosser, who also affirmed that from tomorrow the embargoes on the specialized press would be lifted, which would allow the content of their reviews to be uploaded.
What’s all new about Apple?
It seems that there will not be multiple batches for Apple releases, so all new devices will be released at the same time. In this way, they will not only begin to reach those who reserved it, but they can be purchased directly both in the Apple Store online and by going to a physical store of the company, who already from this week are expected to have the products on display.
We recall that these are the devices that Apple has already presented pending its launch:
- New 24 ″ iMac: Apple’s redesigned desktop with an M1 chip and a wide color gamut that has already fallen in love with thousands of Mac fans who have seen the same design resigned for more than a decade.
- iPad Pro 2021: two models again, one 11-inch and the other 12.9. Of course, only the large model incorporates a miniLED panel from which an experience similar to that of the very expensive XDR Display of the Mac Pro is expected. What they do share is the M1 chip, the first processor made by Apple for computers and that is released on a tablet.
- Apple TV 4K 2021: the new multimedia player incorporates interesting changes at the performance level thanks to its A12 Bionic chip and adds a new Siri Remote much more adapted to daily use, being more intuitive than in previous versions. Of course, this command will also be standard with the Apple TV HD that is still on sale.
Apart from these products, the Siri Remote of the new Apple TV will be sold separately for a price of 65 euros. It remains to be seen if the same happens with other peripherals such as the new Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse in colors that were presented with the iMac. At the moment they are not available, but the keyboard would be especially interesting if we observe that there are versions that include Touch ID.
