Once we have this technology configured in the Movistar deco, you will never want to see content without this option again. Therefore, we are going to tell you what you should do to activate HDR in the operator’s UHD decoder so that you can improve the image on your television.
Activate the HDR in the Movistar deco
This adjustment will only take a few seconds. More than anything, because it is not difficult at all to activate this option that comes in the Movistar Plus+ UHD deco . But, it is clear that the most important thing of all to watch Movistar TV at a better quality is to have the decoder of the blue operator.
In addition to this, another key factor must be taken into account: having a Smart TV with HDR . Otherwise, no matter how much we configure the deco with this technology, it will be of no use to us. And, for this very reason, the image quality of the content that we see will remain the same as always. Therefore, you will have to check that your television has this technology.
Once we meet these two prerequisites, we can now activate HDR in the deco . To do this, it will be as simple as following this series of steps (these steps will also help you deactivate this technology):
- Access Menu and tap on Settings.

- Tap on HDR Setup .
- Now tap on On/Automatic/Off .
If we choose the Automatic option , this technology will only be activated when the Movistar Plus+ content is compatible with this option. A better alternative than leaving HDR always on. - Hover over it and look at the yellow icons below the name.
- If you find a yellow logo that says HDR , it means that it is compatible with this technology.
