Use this Word feature to search for images, icons or stickers

Word is a leading text application with over 30 years of experience. It has surpassed all its competitors and remains the top choice for users. Its popularity is due in part to its seamless integration with other Word applications.

When creating documents, adding images, stickers, or icons can enhance their visual appeal. These graphics can be downloaded from various websites or search engines, but using them in Word can be inconvenient. Luckily, Word has its own built-in search engine for graphic content that can be inserted directly into the application without using any external tools.

How to Add Stickers, Icons, and Images in Word

The Icons section, located in the Insert options ribbon, includes a native function that enables us to add graphic content without leaving the Word application. Once we click on this option, a new window pops up, providing access to the complete library of Office graphic content. Although the number of available graphics is significantly smaller in the paid version of Word, it still offers great utility, even if we lack the same range of content available.

The content available through this section is divided into 6 categories . In turn, each of these categories has different subcategories that allow us to refine our searches.

  • Images. By default, the Images section offers us different categories such as Individuality, Green, Design, Blue, Climate, Abundance among others. In addition, we can use the search box at the top to search for the type of image we are looking for so that a large number of photos that we can use in their original size are displayed .

  • Adhesives (stickers) . There is little or nothing to say about this category, a category where we can find an endless number of stickers to decorate our documents classified in different categories.
  • Illustrations . The Illustrations category offers us different types of illustrations to add to documents. To find the one that best suits what we need, we can use the search box located at the top.
  • Cartoon people . This option is ideal if we intend to create some kind of comic, since we can find several characters representing different expressions.
