How to Unlink Accounts on Android and iPhone Mobiles

On a daily basis with our mobile we use many applications, most of which are linked to an own account, as well as the mobile itself and its services. Logging in is usually easy, although when it comes to logging out or completely unlinking our mobile and our service account, the steps change and we have to resort to our mobile’s settings, both on Android and iOS.

Unlink Accounts on Android and iPhone Mobiles

This method that we are going to introduce is valid in all the Android customization layers and we will know the similar method that we find in iOS 13. Once we have carried out the steps, the chosen accounts will no longer be related to our mobile and therefore the Session will be closed on the device.

Unlink accounts on Android

From an Android mobile the steps that we must follow are very simple and directly give us access to all the accounts and applications of the mobile. The steps to follow are those:

  • First of all we access the Settings .
  • We look for the Accounts option and click on it.
  • From this screen we will find the accounts associated with the mobile, including Google as mobile accounts.
  • By touching each of them we will be able to remove the account .
  • The same process we will continue with the applications.

So that there is no trace in the applications we will have to go to Settings> Applications and choose the one we want, then go to storage> Clear the cache and data of the application.

Unlink accounts on iPhone

In the case of mobile phones with iOS, the process is very similar, with which we will be able to completely unlink the account and from where we also have access to choose which services are linked to each account. The steps we must follow to access are the following:

  • On our iPhone we go to Settings .
  • We look for the menu of Passwords and accounts .
  • And then we choose one of them, which are linked to our iPhone.
  • When we enter we will have the Delete account button or choose which ones we do not want to remain linked.
  • We confirm the action and the process will be completed.

As you can see, the option to unlink applications does not appear , because in iOS we can only do this from each of the external applications. In case you want to do it with a social network for example, we will have to access it and look for the option, or the quick method is to uninstall and the session will be closed immediately and will not be linked.
